Laboratory Investigations
During the storage process, we run a series of blood tests to
determine whether a viral infection is present in the body.
The tissue is sampled in surgically sterile conditions. All further
medical procedures are also conducted under sterile conditions.
Patented Method of Quality Assurance
Using an exclusively licensed technology, TICEBA examines the tissue
sample for its concentration of adult
stem cells.
Careful Preservation
The process of freezing the tissue, and the valuable stem cells contained
therein, is monitored by computer, in order to preserve the stem cells
as carefully as possible.
Secure Storage
The stem cells are stored in special cold tanks with liquid nitrogen.
Our cold tanks are not dependent upon an electrical grid. The nitrogen
supply, which ensures the cooling, is operational round the clock
and impervious to power shortages.
Patient-Physician Confidentiality & Data Protection Laws
It goes without saying that we conduct our procedures with strict
adherence to patient-physician
confidentiality and data protection laws. We guarantee absolute
discretion regarding the stored information and tissue at our disposal.
The stored tissue is reserved for your personal use. No one else is
granted access to the stored sample.
Manufacturing License
TICEBA possesses the manufacturing license in accordance with section 20c of the German
Medicines Act (permission for the treatment, processing, conservation, storage of tissue or tissue preparation) in
accordance with the applicable European directives. All described activities are carried out by TICEBA in accordance with the applicable European and German regulations,
complying with the high standards of good professional practice. Due to these strict conditions, your stored skin cells may be used as source material for the preparation of an
autogenic (originating from the patient himself) medicine. |
